File lock in hybrids setups
...involves a
period of time in which there will be Linux clients and windows clients
mounting remote shares from a NT server.
The access is working fine, But file locking isn't working properly.
I'll expose situations tested:
Cases
1)
Client A: Windows using Excel
Client B: Windows using Starcalc (staroffice)
This situation is handled perfectly. No linux involved.
2)
Client A: Windows using Starcalc
Client B: Linux using Starcalc
Its working right. Starcalc recognizes that file being used
And the second starcalc sees the file just read only.

Client A: Windows using Excel
Client B:...

Corrupted Files
Hi,
recently I recognized, that some of the files of my laptop (mostly
binary-files, StarCalc, PDF, ...) are corrupted. The files couldn't be
viewed or opened (with SO) anymore.
The files from older backups, before I used ext3-0.0.5 in ordered mode
work still pretty well.
I had no fatal crash or something simillar between these dates (OK, I
had two times a powerloss of my laptop), but n...
