asterisk-addons OS X
...d I have tried adding everything to my path. I've got mysql_devel, etc. I have posted this to the Mac Asterisk mailing list about a week ago with no response, so I thought I would just check in here. RE: [S] R for UNIX on Intel platform
You may get more response by posting this question on the R news list: r-help at stat.math.ethz.ch As for using R on Solaris, its easy to compile, looks and acts almost exactly like S-Plus 3.X. I use R on Sparc Solaris every day. -Greg > -----Original Message----- > From: Stafford Phillip-APS095 [mailto:phillip.stafford at motorola.com] > Sent: Monday, April 01, 2002 12:11 PM > To: 's-news at wubios.wustl.edu' > Subject: [S] R for UNIX on Intel platform > > > Greetings NewGroup; > > Has anyone here had experience compiling and/or running R...

Asterisk for voicemail -> C2611XM, 7940 & 7960 phones
...s, router, and asterisk server are all on seperate private internal networks. I'm very new to all things voice, and have been digging in to the various asterisk docs as fast as I can absorb them. I could use push in the right direction, and some sample configs would be even better. Thanks, --Stafford

Sounds gets choppy after 30 seconds
This is driving me crazy, when making an outgoing call the first 30 seconds is always perfect, then the party on the receiving end can always hear me perfectly but after 30-60 seconds the audio coming back to me from them starts to get choppy and drops out. I've tried this with multiple devices, from multiple locations some behind NAT, others not. This is using the ulaw codec, although

[PATCH 00/10] Split UFO into v4 and v6 versions.
UFO support in the kernel applies to both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols with the same device feature. However some devices may not be able to support one of the offloads. For this we split the UFO offload feature into 2 pieces. NETIF_F_UFO now controlls the IPv4 part and this series introduces NETIF_F_UFO6. As a result of this work, we can now re-enable NETIF_F_UFO on virtio_net devices and restore

Performance tuning a samba system
I have recently started using samba 1.9.18p8 to serve up files here due to reliability problems on some of the Novell servers and a desire to get away from Novell. But I have run into a problem. I have received reports that performance to the Novell box (a pentium based system of some type) is considerably faster than the performance to my Sun Ultra Enterprise 3500 that is running nothing but
