Samba-Squid-AD: Error returned 'BH NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED'
Hi everybody,
I setup squid-2.5.STABLE9 with samba-3.0.13 to use
winbind authentication over a Windows 2003 Active
Directory.
Web users' authentication from my proxy server box
succeedes.
But when a remote user try to authenticate himself,
authentication failes and Squid return the

Authentication problems during a Windows DC reboot
Hi,
I currently have samba (samba-3.0.14a) on a fedora server (Fedora Core
release 1 (Yarrow)). I use it only for NTLM authentication for squid (
squid-2.5.STABLE9).
The samba service is joined to the AD domain and works great. However
this morning the NT admin team needed to reboot two of our 11 domain
controllers. During the time winbindd doesn't seem to have been able to
switch to a different server and didn't stop working again until after...

wbinfo not looking up groups in mixed MS NT/2k AD

Actually what I'm trying to do is to authenticate squid against MS AD
using winbind. I need to restrict access by group, so I'm using
wbinfo_group.pl to do it.
The machine has been built to be a proxy server only.
I'm using Suse Linux 9.3 Professional

I work for a school in the netherlands with a 2mbit Internet uplink and
about 3800 eager student who want to play games on the Internet using
one of our 800 workstations.
Problem was that those game playing students are concentrated in 2 of
