[RFC/PATCH] ssh: config directive to modify the local environment
This provides a mechanism to attach arbitrary configure options into the
ssh_config file and use them from the LocalCommand and ProxyCommand.
Examples:
# set FOO to foo
LocalEnvMod FOO = foo
# append bar to FOO with default separator ","
LocalEnvMod FOO += bar
# unset FOO
LocalEnvMod FOO =
# append foo to BAR with separator ":", if BAR is empty

[PATCH 0/2] Specify signature algorithm during server hostkeys prove
From: Maxime Rey <maximejeanrey at gmail.com>
Hello,
I've discovered an issue with sshd when it's configured to use the SSH agent
alongside multiple host keys. Specifically, this problem happens during the
hostkeys-prove-00 at openssh.com request, when the server attempts to
demonstrate ownership of the host keys by calling the agent.
The issue occurs because, while processing the

Final(?) changes committed
Hi,
In addition to the strptime change that Darren has just committed to
fix Irix, I have committed a change to ssh(1) that affects all platforms:

[PATCH] fix %n expansion in LocalCommand
After the commit titled "expand %h to the hostname in ssh_config Hostname
options" (2010-07-16), %n always got the same value as %h in the LocalCommand
config option. Fix this and add a regression test.

[PATCH] Portability improvements for regress/cipher-speed.sh
Hi,
Although cipher-speed.sh isn't failing, its output is useless on some
platforms. Aside from the definition of $DATA noted in a previous post
to this list, it makes assumptions about dd's status message and the
behaviour of echo.
The patch below addresses these issue, at least on RHEL.

[Patch] Improve portability of regression tests
Hello All.
As promised, here is what I needed to do to get the regression tests to
work on AIX & HPUX. It goes into a bit of detail in the hope that others
might be able to get them running on their platforms. I've run these
mods on AIX 4.3.3, HP-UX 11.00, Solaris 8, Redhat 7.3 and OpenBSD 3.0.
The problems I encountered:
* prereqs (pmake, md5sum)
* bad directory owner/mode causing auth

[Regression] OpenSSH 7.7p1 no longer tests on NonStop Port
Hi All,
I finally got around to trying to test the 7.7p1 release on the HPE NonStop
Platform. 7.6p1 worked just fine - no issues at all.
In 7.7p1, when the agent test ran, the following happened (prior tests
worked perfectly):
run test agent.sh ...
Couldn't open logfile /home/git/openssh-portable/regress/ssh.log:
Permission denied
agent fwd failed (exit code 1)
failed simple agent test

Call for testing: OpenSSH-6.2
Hi,
It's that time again...
OpenSSH 6.2 is almost ready for release, so we would appreciate testing
on as many platforms and systems as possible. This release contains
some substantial new features and a number of bugfixes.
Snapshot releases for portable OpenSSH are available from
http://www.mindrot.org/openssh_snap/
The OpenBSD version is available in CVS HEAD:

[PATCH] Clean up the regress directory with make clean
This patch removes the various keys and support files created during
make tests. It might not be as compact as it could be, and I'd be happy
to get comments on that, but it does work.

[PATCH] ssh: Add option to present certificates on command line
Allow users to specify certificates to be used for authentication on
the command line with the '-z' argument when running ssh. For
successful authentication, the key pair associated with the certificate
must also be presented during the ssh.
Certificates may also be specified in ssh_config as a
CertificateFile.
This option is meant the address the issue mentioned in the following
