[PATCH 0 of 2] Add configuration options to selectively disable S3 and S4 (V3)
...ore key (platform/acpi). The second patch then introduces the acpi_s3 and acpi_s4 configuration parameters to the xl config file (default=1). These result in population of new platform/acpi_s3 and platform/acpi_s4 xenstore keys. hvmloader then reads these keys to determine whether or not to include SSDTs containing the _S3 and _S4 packages respectively. _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

[Patch] Make memory hole for PCI Express bigger and prevent roll-over
...de to more dynamically assign the memory hole for PCI BARs. Do you think it''s worth worrying about this, since again it should only come in handy if you have more than 3GB of RAM aassigned to a 32-bit guest OS? I tried the approach of having two different chunks of ASL code (in different SSDTs or whatever) but couldn''t get that to work, so now I have code to modify the ASL code directly. Also, this is my first attempt at submitting code to Xen so please let me know of any faux-pas I might be committing. Thanks, Dave # HG changeset patch # User root@localhost.localdomain # Dat...

Enable cpufreq support in Xen for AMD Operton processors by: 1) Allowing the PowerNow! driver in dom0 to write to the PowerNow! MSRs. 2) Adding the cpufreq notifier chain to time-xen.c in dom0. On a frequency change, a platform hypercall is performed to scale the frequency multiplier in the hypervisor. 3) Adding a platform hypercall to the hypervisor the scale the frequency multiplier and reset
