Hi, (samba-4.1, samba-4.4) set max client/server protocol to SMB2 in smb.conf. access smb share from windows PC. When non-empty folder is deleted from windows with SMB2(max server protocol/client protocol set to SMB2) NT_STATUS_DIRECTORY_NOT_EMPTY error is returned. Hi, (Observed in all samba versions) I am deleting all samba log files from log directory. All log files are recreated after service restart. But if I don't restart service why the log files are not creating. Even though the samba service is running. If I browse the share then only log.smbd is created. Is my question wrong...? Hi all, IPV6 printing is not happening with samba-3.6.x in win7 but the same works on win8 onwords. Why smb_create is calling many times? Because of this file-size getting zero-length.
