Hi. Myself and a anti-Micro$oft companion tried to get NT domain logons working yesterday and seem pretty close, but not quite. Samba is 1.9.18alpha3, server is an Ultra-2 running SunOS 5.5.1. Encrypted passwords seem to be working, a la smbclient and mostly from NT, "mostly" because it *seemed* to be working but we did have some problems with home directories in smbpasswd changing

...my windows 7 was able to browse the public share listed on the server anonymously. However, when SMB2 is enabled, a network error message is always popped up when I try to browse the samba server from Win 7. I have looked at the trace. It seemed to me that Win 7 had troubles accessing wkssvc, srvsvc, etc. Win 7 sent a create request for wksvc and then a close request immediately even a positive create response was returned. ...actually have the same problem. The Security tab works as expected. Only "Sessions" and "Open Files" do not work. On an DM but work on a DC.
