Missing 4.1 SRPMS?
I can't seem to find autofs-4.1.3-131.src.rpm on the download mirrors...
I notice that there are not many SRPMS in the 4.1 /centos/4.1/os/SRPMS
directory on the download mirrors - is this because most can be found
under /centos/4.0/os/SRPMS and /centos/4.0/updates/SRPMS? - or should
all the 4.1 SRPMS be in /centos/4.1/os/SRPMS ?
Thanks

I pushed the 3 SRPMs that are not in CR to:
http://vault.centos.org/6.10/os/Source/SPackages/
They should be there in a few minutes (after the master mirror syncs out
to the rest of the vault mirrors).
All the other new SRPMS should be available from :

Missing sources in CentOS 6.0
Hello everyone,
In the 6.0 release, I have found a gap in the provided source under the SRPMS/ directories on the mirrors.
Let's take the 'bash' source as the first example. The version of bash that I find in the binary x86_64 directories is:
http://mirror.centos.org/centos-6/6.0/os/x86_64/Packages/bash-4.1.2-3.el6.x86_64.rpm
One would expect to find the source to that binary...

7.3 srpms
Hi,
Can someone tell me when the 7.3 srpms will be available?
They are usually in vault but I do not see them at this time.
I need the centos-release srpm ASAP.

kernel source for 4.4
Hi,
I am looking for the kernel source for 4.4.
All I found was
kernel-2.6.9-42.EL.src.rpm <http://mirrors.kernel.org/centos/4.4/os/SRPMS/kernel-2.6.9-42.EL.src.rpm>
I was expecting to find the kernel-2.6.9-42.0.2.EL.src.rpm <http://mirrors.kernel.org/centos/4.4/os/SRPMS/kernel-2.6.9-42.EL.src.rpm>
Are they the same?
THanks,
Jerry

CentOS-5.7 SRPMS
Are the 5.7 source RPMs going to be mirrored to http://www.<my favorite mirror>/centos/ 5.7/os/SRPMS/
and http://www.<my favorite mirror>/centos/ 5.7/updates/SRPMS/ as was the case for the previous releases ?
Or are they permanently banished to http://vault.centos.org/5.7/ as per the readme.txt currently in place on most mirrors ?
Thanks

rhel source rpms
hi...
new to centos, but i have a few questions...
i understand that centos is a derivative of rhel, created from the
exact/underluing source files used to create rhel. if this is the case, is
it possible to get the actual source SRPMS for either RHEL, or for CentOS?
I used to see the source files on the redaht system, but I don't seem to see
them anymore...
i'm curious to know what's better, using CentOS, or the latest fedora FC
version...
thanks

Where's v5.3 source RPMs?
It seems that the mirrors are now all sync'd with the binary RPMs, but
where are the source packages?
The source RPMs are available for the few packages updated since the
upstream 5.3 release, but the SRPMS for the release itself are
missing.
Example: http://mirror.centos.org/centos-5/5.3/os/ has directories
containing the x86 and x86_64 binaries, but should also have a SRPMS
directory.

noob question about mock
Hi,
Been recently more and more tempted to use mock for building rpms, but
looking at it I have one problem. As far as I could read about it, mock
essentially rebuilds srpms so to use it I would need a separate "classical"
build environment to create those srpms in the first place.
Am I right or did I get something terribly wrong?
Cheers!
