Hallo, I?m using samba 4.11 from sernet and the vfs object full_audit. After update samba to 4.12 from sernet full_audit is broken and the shares with full_audit are not accessible. Can anyone tell me please how to install python 3 on centos7 while the Centos system needs python 2 but samba sould use python3? Thanks in advance, Peter

I admit I didn't pay attention to that issue when I confirmed some of spec files settings from https://samba.tranquil.it/centos7/samba-4.8.8-srcrpm. Hi, I raised the functional level of my Samba 4.19 server with the commands below, the Schema update took a long time but ended successfully, however when raising the functional level with the second command the error below occurred and I was unable to complete the complete process. Hi, I'm trying to build Samba from source on a RHEL version 8 server. I installed all the necessary packages and untarred the source for Samba version 4.6.10. In the past I have been able to successfully build and install Samba version 4.13.17 on a RHEL version 7 server with Python2. Here I believe I am using Python3, but I cannot seem to get past the configure command: [root at v2ecsqapp09
