postfix vurtual user
Hi,
Sory to bother you with my new-user questions.
i've got one redhat 9 box, acting as email server using sendmail. it
use local /etc/passwd.
last week i've just finished setting up a server, centos 4.4 as a
replacement mail server for the red hat 9.
i mainly refereing the tutorial at

thanks, now it works.
The dovecot.conf was wrong configured and the permissions in the /home
folders where given not correctly
Now we are able to read our mail with outlook and via SquirellMails

Upgrading PHP and PHP53 on CentOS5 - Progress/Problem w/ Squirrelmail

In the attempt to upgrade the technology stack on CentOS 5 from stock PHP
to PHP53 I have made some progress.

Wide open (security = share) w/ printers including driver download success story
Hi-
I wanted to share my experience w/ the list in getting a completely wide open
file and printer (w/ automagic driver download) with security = share setup
working.
My requirement was to setup a server for a small office of XP boxes w/ file and
printer sharing and had always done samba as domain controller w/ full logons
etc. No need for any security in this setup and I wanted to have the

Sendmail vs. Postfix
Hah!!! This list is just too calm and mundane. The only thing we argue
about is the ''announce'' list vs. the ''user'' list. ;) So, it''s
springtime! I''m seeing all the regularly scheduled ''oil'' threads on my
motorcycle lists and thought "oh what the heck, lets get the ''oil''
thread going over on the CentOS
