I''m using shorewall with openvpn and traffic shaping at all of our offices. I have noticed for a while that occasionally ping times are excessive. Sprint Nextel is sueing vonage, voiceglo and theglobe.com for infringing on VoIP patents. Sprint Nextel claims to have about 100 patents on VoIP technologies. Does anyone know which ones this article is talking about, and if so does asterisk have any of those features? Hi, I have an odd problem where when a call is made to any landline phone the callerid number shows up on the caller id device with no problems. However when I call a cell phone from Sprint or Verizon it always shows up as unavaliable. I've tried multiple cell phones from each carrier. Does anyone have trouble with dialing in to an Asterisk Server and having the DTMF digits recognized? We have some clients who are calling in with cell phones, notably those with SprintPCS service, who's DTMF is just never recognized. I have tried relax_dtmf on and off, with no improvement.
