I had that happen to me on w2k. Your spooler service is stopped. I had an invalid print driver entry in Samba and when I printed to any of the printers on my Samba server it would cause the service to stop. After installing print drivers to the my RH7.3 Samba 2.2.5 box, I have noticed the print subsystem shuts down, after receiving a spoolsv.dll error message (sorry, didn't write it down). This has happened on 3 different win2k machines, sp2. Once I reboot everything is fine. Ideas?

Everything was working fine, then after an update, it no longer works. I am using Fedora 7. I am unsure of the Wine version. Any of the Wine apps cause the screen to blank when I start them. I can press alt+f4 to close and get my Fedora desktop back. How do I get my Wine apps to work again? --Tony

Sunday I intalled Kubuntu 8.04RC and afterwards discovered that an old 16 bit windows program I've been running for years in WINE will no longer run. At first it told me there wasn't 16 bit support. So, just for chuckles I booted 8.04 with the older 2.6.22.14 kernel and it worked just fine. I prefer to use the new kernel since the scanning software no longer works under the older kernel

Hello Everyone, I have a slight issue with configuring a PDF printer on my Samba servers. I have input the following into my smb.conf file and it does create the printer as well as work to create PDF files, except that it only functions when "printing" to that printer via Excel 2002. If I attempt it with anything else, even the Windows Test print, it fails. Now, in the Windows
