Sponsorship of Dovecot
...inimal requests for what I would like to be developed during that period, but largely the pledge is without strings and you can develop as you wish. I will add a note on the Roadmap thread with my thoughts Thanks for writing Dovecot. Please contact me offlist and let me know how you want the sponsorship delivered (Paypal is fine but sometimes expensive for the receiver). I hope others will step up and increase this substantially Regards Ed W http://www.mailasail.com

sponsorship
I could not find a relevant email to send this request to so please forgive me and forward as appropriate. I was wondering if you would consider a sponsorship link your main page. Perhaps for a flat monthly fee or something. Please let me know. Thanks. Hi all, Below is an invitation to participate in the open media software developer workshop FOMS to be held in January 2009 in Hobart, Tasmania. If you are keen to go, but cannot get your employer to sponsor your trip, register by tomorrow (or as soon as you can) and request travel sponsorship. Others can still register closer to the date, but you might want to start planning and booking your trip. You should really consider participating if you are a developer in Xiph or Annodex, since many in our community will be attending and we always get a huge buzz out of it and lots of new code....

OT: Tux500 Linux Marketing Program
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I found this on my Newsforge newsletter this morning. A group has put together a marketing program attempting to get some cash together for Linux to get a sponsorship sticker on an Indy 500 car. CentOS is on the list of folks who have contributed. Only $25 so far. http://tux500.com/stats.php - Contributor list I thought it was a neat idea, plus it mentions CentOS. They look to have raised a little over $7,600 so far. They need at least $25,000 to even get a sm...

...ing offshoring successfully. I will find out how the system works, the technology infrastructure required and speak to the individuals driving this through the business. Maybe the CIO Iain Andrew was trying to pull a fast one, too far in bed with Logica, but it MUST have had executive attention and sponsorship, you would have thought. I think this is a fantastic idea and more trans-national corporations should take this as a lesson on how to maximise their investment in human capital. This research, although confined to technology, proves it. Frauenheim believes that it is driven by a desire to offshore...
