ggplot2: labels and breaks order does not match and I can't use scale_fill_identity
...ale_fill_identity to manually define the order
of both the breaks and the labels.
This is however unsuitable for me (at least in the unmodified form), as this
is part of a script that does not know in advance how many levels there arae
in f1.
Is there a way round this problem?
Many thanks

ggplo2: x_discrete labels size/direction
...Stretching the "windows" device window manually also helps, but I found that
setting the parameters for the pdf device (where my scripts should print the
data), such as paper="a4r" just results in a lot of empty space at both
sides.
Thanks for your help!

logistic regression
Hi everyone,
I'm sorry if this turns out to be more a statistical question than one
specifically about R - but would greatly appreciate your advice anyway.
I've been using a logistic regression model to look at the relationship
between a binary outcome (say, the odds of picking n white balls from a bag
containing m balls in total) and a variety of other binary parameters:

allEffects() with lm
...wondering if this is a bug or a "feature" and in the latter case, what
can be done to display effects of the terms in a "combined" way, such that
the contribution of both them on their own and as part of an interaction
term is taken into account.
Many thanks

colorspace package does not compile on ubuntu 7.04 32 bit
...n fails as below.
I suspect this might be a problem with gcc v3/v4 incompatibility (or
anything else), but I don't really know how to resolve it. Any advice will
be appreciated - or perhaps somebody has got this package compiled and could
share the binaries?
Many thanks!
