At first I thought about using Asterisk with CMU Sphinx because I believe
this Asterisk+Sphinx solution is completely for free.
Somebody suggested me that it is the way of integrating Sphinx4

choice (but I can't find whether this Lumenvox is for free so I just sent
mail to them).

Opinions of Sphinx?
I'm planning a system of 120 SIP or PRI channels using speech
recognition (fixed grammar of 500 words) menus.
I could use a Cisco router and VoiceXML, but would prefer not to on cost
grounds.
Has anyone tried Asterisk and Sphinx (bonus points if in a production
environment)? If so, what's your opinion on quality of recognition,
stability, resource usage, etc?

Reading sound and recognizing DTMF sounds in eagi script ?
Hi,
we've connected Sphinx4 through eagi script (modified eagi example) to
Asterisk. Users can now say their wishes - but for gradual evolution we
would like also to provide "older" way of DTMF navigation too - can we
recognize
DTMF while reading sound in eagi ?
Any advice or examples ?

Speech Recognition and Asterisk
All;
Since I have interest in providing the capability for callers to speak
the department, person or number they wish to call, as well as other IVR
scenarios, I have been reviewing much of this lists email archives and
searching the web for open source voice recognition that will work with
the Asterisk PBX.
What I am trying to determine, is what will it take to get it working on
Asterisk? How
