Yep, just a few follow-up questions:
- SPH Type 1 and type 2 appear to be flipped wrt the tables -- "When
PS is used, field SphType in CommonWord0 must be set to 1; similarly,
when VTG is used, SphType in CommonWord0 must be set to 2." But the
"Table 1. SPH Type 1 Definition" is clearly meant for VTG and table 2
is clear...

spatial cross-correlation
Hi;
I cannot find in the R html documentation a way to evaluate
cross-correlation in 2D data sets.
I would like to evaluate cross-correlation in a series of moving windows
between two maps.
i,e, specify several windows inside the complete 2D spatial matrixes and
for each one ofthese windows evaluate the 2D cross-correlation (commonly
conducted in the spectral domain).
Thanks in advance and best

Fedora 11: Package RBGL won't install
...packages in gR task
view on Fedora11 64 bit without success
My guess is that it is due to boost (fedora is at boost 1.37 which is
a few minor versions behind 1.40) and very recent g++
Has anyone managed to install the gR task view or RBGL in particular?
Thanks
Cheers
Peter

plot two variograms on a same graph
Hi,
I would know how to plot two variograms on a same graph. I can plot one by one but I would draw both on the same one.
Is it possible? Do i need any special package?
Thanks!

C/H/S = Cylinder/Head/Sector.
The two conversion factors HpC and SpH are needed for the formula
to convert C/H/S to LBA or vice versa:
LBA = C * HpC * SpH + H * SpH + S - 1
Introducing the term "track" here seems surplus.
It would become confusing as soon as we speak of optical media too.
There "track" is a consequtive sequence of some normal...

REML option in gstat
Hi, please help!!
I've been trying to fit variogram models using the REML method in the gstat
package. Every time the Windows GUI crashes. For example
library(gstat)
data(meuse)
x <- variogram(zinc ~ 1, ~x + y, meuse)
v <- vgm(140000, "Sph", 800, nug = 10000)
plot(x, model = fit.variogram(x, model = v, fit.method=5))
Other fit methods are non problematic (eg. fit.method=7 for WLS or
fit.method=1 for OLS)
I've tried the code on Windows XP, 98 and NT and all fail, how about
non-Windows platforms?
Any suggestions?

Hi,
As I'm looking to add some support to nouveau for features like atomic

That's a fake Block0 of an Apple Partition Map. Part of mjg's layout.
Caused by isohybrid option --mac or xorrisofs option -isohybrid-apm-hfsplus.
* Fedora has it with EFI FAT filesystem in one partition

Generalized Estimating Equations and log-likelihood calculation
Hi there,
I'm working with clustered data sets and trying to calculate log-likelihood
(and/or AIC, AICc) for my models. In using the gee and geese packages one
gets Wald test output; but apparently there is no no applicable method
for "logLik" (log-likelihood)calculation.
Is anyone aware of a way to calculate log-likelihood for GEE models?
Thanks for the help,
