Decent How-To now on the wiki for setting up Transport Layer Security
Hi all,
For anyone that's interested in setting up TLS with libvirt, but hasn't
gotten around to it yet, there's a decent guide on the wiki now:
http://wiki.libvirt.org/page/TLSSetup
It's user focused (ie SysAdmin's), and has lots of pics explaining
concepts, plus shows what needs to be done, and shows how to do it.
Please note, it doesn't cover SASL, it's just

Implementation of W2K Group Policies from a Linux Ser ver
Just a quick congrats to John for repling to this email constructivly.
Too often do people fire out the ole RTFM speel. More people within the
OpenSource community could do with taking a leaf out of his book.
On topic for a second, do not discount being able to lower the spec of the
below machine due to careful implementation and installation. You may wish
to take a look at the kernel

Samba on Irix 6.2/6.3 (SAMBA digest 1364)
Todd Daugherty (SAMBA digest 1364) enquired about samba on Irix 6.2/6.2.
For Irix 6.2 I only need to add the following to the Makefile.
# FOR SGI IRIX 6.2, use this line instead
(David.Billinghurst@restech.cra.com.au)
FLAGSM = -DSGI5 -DSHADOW_PWD -DHAVE_TIMEZONE -DFAST_SHARE_MODES
LIBSM =
FLAGS1 = -O -n32

64 bit filesystems (Specifically Irix 6.2)
Following the posting by spd@gtc1.cps.unizar.es (J.A. Gutierrez) in
SAMBA digest 1482
I compiled samba-1.9.17p4 under Irix 6.2 using the -fullwarn flag.
There are around
2000 lines of warnings and messages - quite a few are due to 64 bit file
systems but
there are unused variables, missing prototypes, etc as well.
For example:
mode_t != int
elements of struct statvfs are unsigned long, rather

Mailinglist
I want to subscribe myself to the mailing list.
And I have a question. Where can i ask it??
I want to make Linux Fedora Core 2 my file server
I already connected it to a Windows2000 Domain. But Now when users login
they have to acces their own user folders. Without having to login again. So

Problem using Lotus Notes
I?m running Mandrake 8.2 and installed Wine in a fake_windows directory. I
could make Lotus Notes 507 work fine with most of its uses, but I?m having
trouble with a specific application, which runs in Notes environment (a
Notes database). The problem I have appears in Windows clients too, but in
those cases it?s solved changing some parameters in Windows?s "Regional
Settings". How can I

patch: typo's and gcc warnings
Two patches:
one to correct the spelling of permissions (in comments, but such typos
disturb me as well), and
one to cast inode and dev to unsigned long before comparing, to prevent
gcc giving a warning "comparison between signed and unsigned".

a better "should have valid associations"
This is pretty much the same as last time around, if you recall.
Thanks to Wilson for converting to the new form. I''ve added a few
lines. Basically, it iterates over your model associations and does
two things.
- First, just try to call the association. Usually fixes speeling
erors or other such silliness.
- Second, try to find a record with an :include on the association.
