undesireable lazy loading
Hi,
My work with Rails has been fairly straightforward, until yesterday...
I''ve encountered rather a peculiar problem that I''m not able to solve
myself as a rails-newbie.
The model code looks like this:
class Link < ActiveRecord::Base
has_one :user_vote

class UserVote < ActiveRecord::Base
belongs_to :user
belongs_to :link
end
I have a SQL query that is

Question about random interactions in MCMCglmm
Hi,
I've been a bit confused by different wyas we specify random effects
in lmer and MCMCglmm i just want to clear something. When I want to
look for intersexual genetic correlations in the trait, is it
equivalent to treat this trait for opposite sexes as separate traits
and include the term idh(trait):animal - to treating this as a single
trait and fitting idh(sex):animal? Do these two ways

Global variables - collision?
If I edit the value of a global variable in my dialplan, could there be a
risk of collision between calls?
More in details: could a global var be used to build a counter that will be
incremented by every call that passes.
I think when 2 calls come in almost sumiltaneously, they could both be
incrementing and saving the same value... which is bad!
Anybody knows how asterisk handles this?

question about fixed and random factors in aov
Dear R users,
I know that it was considered many times but having searched through dozens
of posts I have only added to my confusion. My question is - is it possible
to correctly analyse simple mixed (fully)crossed (factorial) 2-way ANOVA?
Assume we have factor A (fixed) and B (random). In the model with an
interaction A should be tested against interaction, B and A:B against
residual variance.

Good day all.
I have successfully installed Engines and LoginEngine and LE is setup and
running correctly.
However, after installing and setting up UE, when attempting to run the rake
