When to send "post" and "get" in blocks.
Hi,
I''m new to RSpec. I have a question about how to write controller specs.
Here''s a code generated by scaffolding (with Rspec).
def do_get
get :index
end
it "should be successful" do
do_get
response.should be_success
end
it "should render index template" do
do_get

So don't you think it would be a good thing if the thing was built so
it didn't break in the first place? That is, so nobody gets killed
running it as shipped, even it they don't have your magical expertise?

Yes, computers and the way people access them are pretty much a
commodity now. If you are spending time building something exotic for
a common purpose, isn't that a waste?

Default Test library
Along the same lines as the default javascript library discussion [1],
why don''t we switch the default test library to RSpec? The stats [2]
posted by Xaviar in the other thread seem to support that RSpec is the
preferred way to test.

Hi there. having a problem and asking for your help.
...on is about IceCast (naturally) and moreover about
southcasting and master/slave configuration.
In fact, I'm totally new in configuration of IceCast, and the problem is
:
- Next Sunday, we have a big national war against 2 clans on Tribes2
game
- For this occasion, we'll need to shoutcast spectators commentaries.
- We have a friend who've got a server under linux with icecast
installed (I could give you more information if you want). The bandwidth
is correct (about 4Mb), si we can hope connection will not be a problem.
- We (a friend and me) are the two commentators (excuse me for my sad

This seems... counterintuitive, at least. Is it the

GFS2 performance
Hi,
I'm trying to get more performance out of my DRBD cluster with gfs2.
It seems that our gfs2 implementation is quit slow.
When running the ping_pong test we get no more than a 1000 locks/sec on the disk.
./ping_pong /mnt/backup/test.dat 4
879 locks/sec
The cluster config has been updated with:
<dlm plock_ownership="1" plock_rate_limit="0"/>

I really hate these car analogies. They are counter-productive. In your
eyes my server is indeed a commodity, which I refuse to agree with pretty
much like I refuse to join ipad generation. My ipad would be commodity,
but I for one will never trust that ipad and will not originate connection

Controlling Buffer Lengths
Hello all. This email comes with a huge explanation. You can skip to
the final line for the short version of it.
I am wondering how I can control buffer lengths with Icecast. I can't
see any information in the documentation related to buffers. I also
cannot seem to find a mailing list search function and Google is not
helping.
The problem is this. We are trying to run an Unreal

Patches for object tracking
The following patches implement object tracking. Note nasty games I
play to make the tracking global. SWIG 1.3.30 won''t need this. I also
updated the minimum required SWIG version to 1.3.29.

(OT) rfc1948 question
Hi, folks @ freebsd-security.
First, I am not sure if this is apropriate topic for that list, so
sorry, if it is not.
Some time ago I have read rfc1948 (protection from blind TCP spoofing)
and became interested in the way how it is implemented in FreeBSD.
After some googling (BTW if you like Google you might be interested in

I sometimes think that it?s pointless for Americans to talk much about recent events in Gaza because we know how it will play out ? America will do absolutely nothing to interfere with the
ongoing massacre.
