When to send "post" and "get" in blocks.
Hi, I''m new to RSpec. I have a question about how to write controller specs. Here''s a code generated by scaffolding (with Rspec). def do_get get :index end it "should be successful" do do_get response.should be_success end it "should render index template" do do_get response.should

So why not just do what RedHat does? Is that not the core philosophy of CentOS? It's a non-commercial repackaging of RHEL. Why go in a di...

So don't you think it would be a good thing if the thing was built so it didn't break in the first place? Default Test library
Along the same lines as the default javascript library discussion [1], why don''t we switch the default test library to RSpec? The stats [2] posted by Xaviar in the other thread seem to support that RSpec is the preferred way to test. Hi there. having a problem and asking for your help.
...on is about IceCast (naturally) and moreover about southcasting and master/slave configuration. In fact, I'm totally new in configuration of IceCast, and the problem is : - Next Sunday, we have a big national war against 2 clans on Tribes2 game - For this occasion, we'll need to shoutcast spectators commentaries. - We have a friend who've got a server under linux with icecast installed (I could give you more information if you want). The bandwidth is correct (about 4Mb), si we can hope connection will not be a problem. - We (a friend and me) are the two commentators (excuse me for my sa...

Fwd: Shameless call for game testing
...e. Gamers, please do pitch in and help with some Extreme Wining :-) - d. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Stefan D?singer <stefandoesinger at gmx.at> Date: 2009/6/24 Subject: Shameless call for game testing To: wine-devel at winehq.org Hi, I need some help for people who spectate this list and use Wine mostly for gaming. In the past weeks, I have improved our ARB shader backend to support Shader Model 3.0 on cards that support GL_NV_vertex_program3 and GL_NV_fragment_program2(Geforce 6+), and 2.0 on other cards that have support for the needed shader constants(ATI Radeon...

I am a mechanic of racing car competition team, my cars go into competition, and the life of driver riding it depends on me having taken the whole mechanism apart, and making sure nothing breaks and kills driver and hundreds of spectators. I really hate these car analogies. They are counter-productive. In your eyes my server is indeed a commodity, which I refuse to agree with pretty much like I refuse to join ipad generation. Controlling Buffer Lengths
...g list search function and Google is not helping. The problem is this. We are trying to run an Unreal Tournament 2004 "Unreal TV" broadcast. Unreal TV allows up to 40-50 people to watch an Unreal match while using a fraction of the bandwidth compared to what they'd use if they were spectating the match themselves. Unreal TV has, on our server, a delay of 20 seconds to prevent any watchers from giving the players tips over a communications program such as Teamspeak. We are trying to get an MP3 and a Vorbis stream of play-by-play commentary to sync up as best as possible to Unreal TV...

Patches for object tracking
The following patches implement object tracking. Note nasty games I play to make the tracking global. SWIG 1.3.30 won''t need this. I also updated the minimum required SWIG version to 1.3.29. ...anitary sistem! Beyond the industrial and technological progress, in all of this, the Media plays a conclusive role: every day and more we are always object of advertising promotions that invite to the consumption of food, of medicines, of alcohol, etc, that in a hidden way stimulate and force the spectator to buy, everything because it is good, well, it give you the opportunity to have fun....! If we want to say with an only word, what it seems to spring more and more from the large majority of the advertising , we could say: "It swallows!Gulps down!". On one side food, because it is go...

...if this is apropriate topic for that list, so sorry, if it is not. Some time ago I have read rfc1948 (protection from blind TCP spoofing) and became interested in the way how it is implemented in FreeBSD. After some googling (BTW if you like Google you might be interested in this: http://register.spectator.ru/img/bart.gif ), I found this: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/sys/netinet/tcp_subr.c where in "Revision 1.73.2.22" one can read: ;------------------Begin clipboard---------------------------- Much delayed but now present: RFC 1948 style sequence numbers In order to ensure...

For Whom the Gaza Bell Tolls -- Part 1 and 2 -- Obama’s Mideast Jewish Wet Dream Team
...elementary school playground, but this version is played out with incredible destructive force, no supervision, no brave friends, and no justice. Not only is incredible destructive force in view for the whole world, a bizarre Israeli response to the slaughter has surfaced: It is the "ultimate spectator sport," in the words of a London Times reporter. As a front-page article in the Wall Street Journal also described, from hilltops overlooking Gaza, Israelis would come with lawn chairs and picnics lunches to watch the one-sided death circus that is Gaza. Israelis ?have made the trek, they s...
