Problem with specifiying column widths in layout
I am trying to generate a graphic with a matrix of 9 line graphs (3 rows, 3 columns), all with the same y-axis range, and only showing the y-axis labels and title at the left edge of each row of the matrix. I have been trying to use the widths argument in layout to specify a larger column width in the left column so that I have room for the y-axis labels and title, but I get the following error:

allow trusted domains ... howto specifiy domains?
I am running a samba pdc on host "debianpdc" for domain "linuxdom" and have set "allow trusted domains = yes" in my [global] smb.conf file... now how do I specify which domains to trust? I would like to trust an NT4 domain "nt4dom" run by the host "nt4pdc" on the same network.

Logon Hours with Samba PDC
...lah blah blah, .... everything seems to work fine. I checked with 'rpcclient' to see what sort of information is returned from 'rpcclient -c "queryuser [rid]" [server]' and did notice 'logon_hrs' and 'Kickoff Time" fields returned so I assumed I could specifiy times during a day when a user can/cannot logon to the domain. I then tried using the standard Windows tools "i.e. User Manager for Domains" to specifiy logon times but always receive an error "Group Name could not be found" when I finally click on Ok. As a matter of fact,...

Edit label in virtual listctrl
...y problem comes when I call the edit_label method, specifically that I think that I don't quite understand the argument passed to it (item as integer). This would seem to be the row, and when passed a row number, the edit control shows up just fine, for the first column. How would I go about to specifiy a label in another column? generalized matrix product ?
Is there available in R a generalized inner product or matrix product, similar to 'outer(x,y, fun)', where one can specifiy an arbitrary function in place of ordinary multiplication? Here's my application. I frequently analyze user questionnaires from our HR/training department. These have questions of the form "please rate your skill in task X", and other questions of the form "Have you...

Can't get 'root preexec' to run
On a Windows domain member client in the ADUC console, you specifiy the home dir path that is to be used on Windows machines on the "Profile" tab. As soon as you click 'Ok' (or 'Apply' for that matter), the folder is created (by the DC via your domain admin account) on the Samba server hosting the share the path you provided leads to....

Problems With Ices
...Ices, if I use the password supplied in the icecast.conf file and give it to the ices configuration file, it kicks this: Failed connecting to server 127.0.0.1, error: Could not login on server. Server message: ERROR - Bad Password Ices Exiting... Where in the world does it get 127.0.0.1, I am specifiying another IP, (even though it is still local). Plus I triple checked, the pass is right! Also I am not using crypt. combined random effects
Hi, I have the following linear mixed model: y(g,i,j,k,l)=u + L(g) + T(i) + D(j) + S(k) + (TS)(i,k) + error(g,i,j,k,l) where S(k) and the combined effect (TS)(i,k) are random effects whereas the rest are fixed effects. How do I specifiy the random part of the model formula in lme(), especially concerning the combined effect (TS)? Moreover, when I run the model as a fixed effect model I get the following error: > lm(logMed ~ lenAA + TREAT + DYE + SLIDE + SLIDE:DYE,data=MA) Error in lm.fit(x, y, offset = offset, ...) :...

PAP2T-NA Jitter Buffer
Hi Folks, I know the PAP2T-NA has a jitterbuffer.... however, it seems to be adaptive, which is fine for most situations... however, is there some way I can either: A) Specify how long it waits before it starts to shrink? The system ends up with no network interface set up at all, because the init-script gets confused. So.... How do you specifiy the order in which NICs are enumerated? or at least how to tell centos to stop messing with the 70-persistent-net.rules? Password Aging/Expiration in Samba 3?
Is password aging/expiration a functional feature in Samba 3? I have compiled and installed the alpha 12 release and while I can set password aging in the account policies via NT's account manager, Samba 3 does not seem to be honoring it. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? samba ldap and anonymous shares
...we have several anonymous shares that users access to run custom applications. After moving everything to OpenLDAP, anonymous access is broken but only from windows clients. If you connect from a Linux client and pass the username of nobody without a password, it works just fine. Even specifiying the nobody user from a windows client does not work. The server's local passwd file still has the nobody user in it. I tried both with and without the nobody user in the OpenLDAP directory. Any ideas? My ideai is to concentrate the passwords in samba server (since it already have the users created) but let them mount (without having to specifiy anything) the home located in a different server without having to create again the same user/password in samba server2
