Samba unable to bind to LDAP server
I've spent the last several days trying to get Samba to bind to our
OpenDirectory server for user authentication with no success.
Whenever I try start Samba, it complains that the connection to the
LDAP server failed with invalid credentials. I am authenticating
other services against the LDAP server through NSS, so I am a bit at a
loss as to why Samba won't run. I'm also a bit at a

IAXTEL Inbound, and Outbound Tollfree Changes
Last night Mark and I made some changes to the IAXTEL tollfree outbound,
and inbound access.
The inbound access number has changed to: 248-724-0700.
(This number is in Pontiac, MI Ratecenter, and is supplied by
Telesthetic LLC, a next gen phone compnay)
This number will say "Please dial your number now" at that point
you can dial your 1-700-XXX-XXXX IAXTEL number assigned.

Logistic regression X^2 test with large sample size (fwd)
Does anyone know of any X^2 tests to compare the fit of logistic models
which factor out the sample size? I'm dealing with a very large sample and
I fear the significant X^2 test I get when adding a variable to the model
is simply a result of the sample size (>200,000 cases).
I'd rather use the whole dataset instead of taking (small) random samples
as it is highly skewed. I've

I have looked at

I am bewildered with timezones. Is there a way to get what would go
into tz="" for making a function that uses POSIXct to be able to be
used in all of the timezones in just the united states? This is for
both windows and mac...
this is the function that I am wanting to use it with

no serial number for Tripp-Lite SMART3000RM2U?
I'm trying to set up a single host to monitor the state of several UPS
in my data center. I have a mix of several APC and Tripp-Lite in
production. The former are great, the latter are not so much. With the
APCs (using usbhid-ups), I can set up configs for each based on the
value they report from ups.serial. With the Tripp-Lites (using
tripplite_usb), there is no value returned for

shared folder name or public folder with mail address
Hello!
we are about to move from cyrus to dovecot and have one open issue
for that migration.
With cyrus we have "shared/" folders with a name that is self defined like
shared/project-xyz
but the email address for direct delivery to that folder my be different
(not project-xyz at domain.com).
With dovecot we try to have it similar (at least how the user sees it in the client)
like it

[PATCH 0/2] MD device inspection
These patches are rebased on top of current master. In addition, I've made the
following changes:
* Fixed whitespace error.
* Functions return -1 on error.
* Added a debug message when guest contains md devices, but nothing was parsed
from mdadm.conf.
