Saving the monitor file on new file always using Monitor(wav, Record1, m)
Dear List; For each call (in specific case), I need to do a record and save in a spearated file, so I am thinking the best thing is to save based on the time. Monitor(wav,Record1,m) So, how can I make the file name to be based on the current time (which is changed always, or based on the some unique paramter (related to the call it self). Any advise? automatic levels
Hello, I've imported a csv, semi-colon spearated file with read.csv2, containing one column of rownames and one column of floating point numbers. When I look at the column of data with framename$columnname, I get the values of the column plus level values. Are these level values created automatically ? The problem is when I try to calcluate the c...

many small files bug
Hi! I try to copy a lot of little files between a Linux and a Tru64 (I successfully compiled rsync on a tru64, it needed a little cosmetics), but it throws me this error (rsync 2.5.5 on both machines): 779300 files...rsync: error writing 4092 unbuffered bytes - exiting: Broken pipe rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(463) The command line was: rsync -avzP -e ssh

OT: batch processing XLS files to CSV
...ally, this is fixed length, one row!); 2) community contacts with services, variable length, rarely zero rows but could be; 3) inpatient admissions, variable length, often zero rows; and CPA information (don't ask what that is!), two rows, fixed format, just to make things tricky, they're spearated by a fixed few junk rows in the xls files. The column format of each block is different. Each block starts with standard label rows so it will be easy to identify these start points and know the format on the rows that follow each one. I could use perl to scan for these and then read the zero...

Help with using unpenalised te smooth in negative binomial mgcv gam
Hi, I have been trying to fit an un-penalised gam in mgcv (in order to get more reliable p-values for hypothesis testing), but I am struggling to get the model to fit sucessfully when I add in a te() interaction. The model I am trying to fit is: gam(count~ s(x1, bs = "ts", k = 4, fx = TRUE) + s(x2, bs = "ts", k = 4, fx = TRUE) + te(x2, x3, bs =

Controlling the vorbis encoder precisely
Hello, currently I'm working on a vorbis based encoder that adds multiple single wave sounds into one vorbis stream (and put every sound in one or more ogg pages). During the process an index is written in an extra file so later you can locate a sound's position easily by a file position and length value. The problem is the sample-exact separation between those encoded wave sounds: If I

Background on setup Here is some basic background of my setup I have 3 domains setup running over a IPSEC tunnel over the Internet with one PDC BDC and some file servers at each location all running samba (I am sorry I do not have the version number in front of me for samba) from SUSE enterprise 10 using the LDAP backend. [LLVMdev] [RFC] Scheduler Rework
Hey Everyone, I'd like to begin a project to rework the scheduler to address some problems we've discovered on this end. The goal is to get a more configurable/flexible scheduler while simplifying maintenance by separating policy from implementation to get independent and interchangeable parts. This is going to be challenging because we are still stuck on LLVM 2.9. We will be upgrading

And route print? Do you have any servers on the WAN? (or is everyone connecting to the servers THROUGH the WAN?) Can you see the samba machines at all in network neghborhood? What happens when you type in the UNC of a samba server manually? (i.e. \\SAMBASERVERNAME) I hope I can help you, and I'm trying, but I'm not a samba guru. -Dan PS. Are you using wins? Try lmhosts for the start? Are all machines on the same subnet? Just a few hints to start with ... Christian > > > I have absolutely no clue what I could do to fix it.
