SPA3000 as a replacement for X100P
I am still haveing problems (echo) with my X100P but I'm thinking it has more to do with the server it is in which is not a negotiable item at this time. My question then is to the use of SPA3000's as a replacement from the FXO standpoint. 1. Can you setup the FXO port to recognize distinctinve ring and call a different context like you can do with Zap channels? Being able to call a

SPA2100 transfer to ASTERISK CID
Hi all, I have around 100 SPA2100 registered in my provider openSER. I'd like to add an Asterisk registered into openSER, to the network, to deploy voicemail service for those SPAs. Due to administration access levels, I have no access to SER box, so I'm wondering if that possible: - Some foreign user (say A) calls one of my SPA (say B). - B don't answer. So.. B SPA is setted up to transfer in 20 seconds on no answer to the number in Asterisk. All ok so far, howeve...

Working SPA 841s now return 404 Not Found for INVITES and OPTION packets from *
...on control and I've reverted everything to exactly how it was when the server was working. Doesn't fix it. I reset one of the SPA841s to factory defaults and reconfigured, still has the problem. Outbound calls from the SPA841s through the * server work fine. How do I figure out what the SPAs are unhappy enough about to return 404? Below is a representative SIP DEBUG trace for a call; the OPTION packet sent due to qualify=yes has the same response. -Johnathan Reliably Transmitting (no NAT) to 192.168.1.30:5060: INVITE sip:192.168.1.30 SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 192.168.1.2:5060;branch...

SIPURA SPA-2000 webserver dead after firmware upgrade
I just got a refurb Sipura SPA-2000 and was able to assign it an IP address with DHCP and ping the device, but then I ran the firmware upgrade utility to bring it up to spa2k-2.0.13g which seemed to work just fine, but after it rebooted I cannot connect to its webserver for configuration. I can still ping the unit. When I use the built in voice menu it reads back the right IP address, webserver

No caller ID, straight to voicemail
Hi, I am having a problem with inbound calls (from a SIP VIOP provider). When caller ID information is not available, the calls go straight to voicemail. We are using a mix of either Sipura 841 phones or SPAs. When the call is passed to the phone/SPA, Asterisk reports "Got SIP Response 406 "Not Acceptable" back from..." I have searched a while now and can't seem to find any reference to the cause of this error. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Is it an Asterisk...

Linksys SPA-942 Phones
Hello List, After seeing a few positive responses for the Linksys SPA-942 phones I was hoping to get some answers on the following questions: * How do the phones handling system wide paging? Is it similar to the Polycom phones? * Can a corporate directory be configured with the phones using Asterisk? * How is the speaker phone quality? Thanks Roy Anciso Director of Technology Manistee

Diagnosing poor call quality
Greetings list, We have an issue with call quality at 2 sites where the users (4 Elmeg IP290s at one site, 2 SPA942s at the other) do not have an asterisk box on-site. Each site has an 8mb down/448k up ADSL connection and the phones connect via SIP to an asterisk box in a datacentre using g729. The asterisk box in the datacentre connects to our other asterisk boxes providing pstn connectivity
