[klibc 17/43] sparc32: transfer arch-specific options to /arch.cmd
Boot options which have been obtained in an architecture-specific fashion have to be copied to /arch.cmd in the rootfs. This implements that functionality for sparc32; the code is identical to sparc64 minus the openprom support for obtaining nfsroot options. Signed-off-by: H. Oops kernel (2.4.18) on Sparc32
Hello, I have recompiled a Linux 2.4.18 kernel on my Sparc and I receive some oops when quick disk access are performed. For example : I download some files on a local server with ncftp (-TR directory), and ncftp hangs up (with kernel oops !). I cannot umount the device and I must reboot the station. For information, my sparc is a SparcStation 5 (85 MHz) with 160 Mbytes and 3 SCSI

qemu-sparc, not to be confused with qemu-system-sparc
I installed CentOS 7.6 then installed all things QEMU on my machine. I have a SPARC image I need to bringing up in a VM. If so, how? It's not apparent and there's almost no info on it. BTW, *qemu-sparc* come with (on CentOS 7.6) when you: $ sudo yum install qemu* *PS> I've tried to install qemu-system-sparc on my...

sys_mmap2 on different architectures
I've looked through the code for sys_mmap2 on several architectures, and it looks like some architectures plays by the "shift is always 12" rule, e.g. SPARC, and some expect userspace to actually obtain the page size, e.g. PowerPC and MIPS. On some architectures, e.g. x86 and ARM, the point is moot since PAGE_SIZE is always 2^12. a. Is this correct, or have I misunderstood

I'm not able to test cris, ia64, s390 (32-bit), or sparc32 at all, so I would appreciate any regression testing people can do on those, or indeed more regression testing on the architectures listed above.
