rsyncing devices
...py this device over again. Here's my rsync command: rsync -avx --delete --exclude=lost+found --exclude=TT_DB \ user@solarisserver::solaris-usr-local/ /solaris/ I've also tried adding the -D flag (which is included in the -a flag). Anyone with any suggestions? Thanks, Cheryl -- Cheryl Southard cld@astro.caltech.edu

Update on docker Python:3 and adding R:4.x

difficulty in Ubuntu 14.04 apt-getting R 3.3.2
Hi: I have a Dockerfile, which builds an image which installed R 3.3.2 in Ubuntu 14.04, but building using that Dockerfile seems to have stopped working and I am unclear why. I believe the relevant error is: Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet

fuzzy-ness to searches
Hi. I didn''t notice if topic has already been discussed, but I was wondering if there was a way to make ferret match only part of a search term. My initial thought was some sort of filter, but I''m unsure of where to begin. An example in the comments of the acts_as_ferret tutorial at RailsEnvy (http://www.railsenvy.com/2007/2/19/acts-as-ferret-tutorial) suggests: To return the
