I am running apache server and listening to port 8000 I am reading the docs and I do not know how to get the client to listen. I have the serve running on 1 machine and when I access the site from the client machine all I get is the XML file and on top of the page it says: This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. I'm new to linux so be patient. I'm running Ubuntu Hardy and have Wine 1.1.5 installed. After installing Family Tree Maker 2009 successfully, it will not execute. The screen comes up like it is going to start and says the database needs to be compacted and then the screen fades away. I decided to run FTM 2009 from the terminal and see what is happening.
