Streets of SimCity under Wine - "No PCI Bus detected."
...have come across an error message that I don't understand.
Wondering if anyone can point me towards a possible cause!
The game is 3D graphical, and I've just switched in the nVidia driver
(previously, while using Nouveau, I got other errors such as that
OpenGL was not installed properly). SoSC installs just fine from the
CD, but will not invoke:
$ wine Streets.exe
No PCI Bus detected.
Searching on Google Code suggests that the only source for this
message (with the trailing period and without "PCI:" in front of it)
is Glide in /swlibs/newpci/pcilib/fxpci.c; the PCI_ERR_NO_BUS...
