gssapi-with-mic and Win2K KDC?
...eem to work at all. The mitm patch provided for 3.8p1 does work, but it seems unlikely it will be maintained over the long term. What are the odds the gssapi functionality might be retained for compatibility purposes? Even if it were a default-off compile-time option that would work for me. The soonest MS would be likely to update their gssapi support would be Longhorn Server in the 2006-2007 timeframe (if at all) so the interoperability issues with their KDC's are likely to continue for some time to come. ...udio equipment for listening tests to see if listeners can still distinguish important parts of the sounds in the recordings. In particular, I'm interested in looking at the nature of degradation when the compression ratio is particularly high: what phonemes become more difficult to distinguish soonest, as the compression ratio goes up? And then, if possible, I'd like to come up with an analysis of *why* those particular sounds are poorly recreated, as opposed to others. My guess is that fricative sounds (/f/, /v/, /s/, /z/) will "degrade" first because they contain larger amounts...

[LLVMdev] [llvm-lab-wg] FNT testers reporting success even though they failed
Hello everyone, It might make sense to start from rebooting the buildmaster, just to make sure everything is all right on this end. Yesterday I have tried to apply the latest changes from zorg and some of them are broken. Theoretically, checkconfig shouldn't affect the working instance, but the reality could be different... I planned to rollback to the last known-to-be-good revision and

Preparing to compare Solaris/ZFS and FreeBSD/ZFS performance.
Hi. I''m all set for doing performance comparsion between Solaris/ZFS and FreeBSD/ZFS. I spend last few weeks on FreeBSD/ZFS optimizations and I think I''m ready. The machine is 1xQuad-core DELL PowerEdge 1950, 2GB RAM, 15 x 74GB-FC-10K accesses via 2x2Gbit FC links. Unfortunately the links to disks are the bottleneck, so I''m going to use not more than 4 disks, probably.

[LLVMdev] Arm port
...als, but they really don't seem to understand deadlines all that well. I guess it won't kill me to wait a little. What was actually important to me was getting a compiler to assist a FreeBSD porting effort, and I just hope that llvm becomes available for the Cortex-A8 (or A9, as you said) soonest. I'm reading the llvm docs now, and referring to my old college compiler books. Unfortunately, I concentrated in OSes when I was in school. I did get a piece of luck, and was able to pick up a copy of that great compiler book, cheaply, even (that guy didn't ever want to be reminded what...
