Writing methods for existing generic function
Dear All,
Suppose I want to write a method for the generic function confint():
> args(confint)
function (object, parm, level = 0.95, ...)
So, it looks like the second and third argument have been predefined in the generic function. Suppose one or several of the predefined arguments don't apply or fit (in some sense) with the design of the rest of the package. What should one do? I see

the coding, we have noticed many inefficiencies of C# compiler to
optimize code. Compiler performs only a few optimisations. A vital
optimisation, inlining, is missed. The JIT-er has rules not to inline
methods containing structs as parameters (this is really stupid!) and
inlining methods longer than 20 bytes

plugin problem
I'm trying to do a rewrite of the dspam_plugin for dovecot 1.1b1.
There are some API changes that warranted an update of the plugin.
Also, I wanted the dspam_plugin to be able to handle pristine mails
for dspam retraining, as opposed to the signature based retraining.
