About using the boot function
...doesn't work. I suspect it has something to do with what is called
"second argument" of the "statistic" in the help page of boot. What is the
second argument of mean? I don't understand. The whole description in the
documentation about this "second argument" is somewaht cryptic and
confusing.
Will someone please help me?

patch proposal for plot.ts
Hi all.
Currently, if you try:
> lag.plot(1:10)
you get superposed labels '1' and '10'. Things go worse in more extreme cases:
x <- ts(1:10)
x1 <- lag(x, 4)
plot(x1, x)
This is due to a mistake in plot.ts. My suggestion is the following
really minimal patch to plot.ts:

I have a shutdown problem. I have a machine with gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R
motherboard. Integrated network card is Realtek 8111B.
I can not wake the computer after I shutdown it from FreeBSD.
It is a dualboot system - windows xp and freebsd. If I shutdown the
computer from windows - later I can wake it up with magic packet. Even
if i shutdown the machine on the boot menu with the power
