I run a number of Centos 3 & 4 servers, and the question is not specific to them, but I am assuming the answer would apply just the same. Is there any way to verify the version of IMAP (IMAP4 vs older) running on a server? I have a RH 7.X box up and has the standard email config. Rsync has been a roller coaster ride for me.. One day it works fine the next day it doesn't. The error i'm recieving is : rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (399 bytes read so far) rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(165) What does this mean and or hint to as the problem?
