Icecast AAC FLV Container
Hello,
I am using Icecast v2.4.1 to to stream AAC audio to web clients through
jPlayer. If HTML5 is not supported then it uses Flash Player.
The problem is that Flash player does not play AAC streams as is, and from
a quick google search someonw suggested I append "?type=.flv" to the url. I
cannot make it work though as whatever I request, I get a response with
mime type "audio/aac". For example (working links):
curl "http://148.251.184.14:18002/chr_80s?type=.flv
<http://s1.chromaradio.com:18002/chr_80s?type=.f...

AJAX image manipulation
...ctures
end
....this is the .rhtml..
<% for photo in @pic -%>
<div class="entry">
<img src="<%= photo.image_url %>"/>
<h3><%= h(photo.title) %></h3>
<%= photo.description %>
</div>
<% end %>
....can someonw show me how I can return the results to AJAX? What I want to
do is to display thumbnails along the bottom and when a user clicks on one
have it a 5x7 area on the screen populated...
Can AJAX receive resultsets from ROR?
Thanks,
Jim

64 bit R for Windows
I am assisting in the purchase of 64-bit Windows XP system for researchers who run R. These systems will have AMD Opteron processors and at least 4GB of RAM. I'd appreciate advice on whether there is a working version of R that can take full advantage of such systems.
