to a hostname but an IP.
You also set max clients to 5000. Which is fine for Icecast. However
your OS may add additional restrictions.
Why do you define a "foo" header and a invalid auth entry in your
default mount block?
Just a few pointers without reading all of the thread. But someof them
seem related to YP listening.
With best regards,

Auth failure messages
Folks
I am using sendmail as my mail server. SELINUX is disabled.
I observe messages in Centos 7 (and 6) in /var/log/messages, similar to:
saslauthd[2765]: do_auth : auth failure: [user=bettie]
[service=smtp] [realm=] [mech=pam] [reason=PAM auth error]
I guess that this is because somebody tried to access one of the SMTP
ports with a logon attempt. This is understandable; there are

YP Directory Listing Concern
Hi Prince
Run ps -ef|grep icecast and make sure that you are looking at the correct config file. In my example it is /etc/icecast/icecast.xml
I pulled my hair out once on something simple as that.
Hope it helps
