4.0 stopped working after updating xubuntu 13.04
...I managed to solve this problem by adding server
services and cderpcendpoint servers in the smbd.conf but the original
problem was still there so I decided to remove those two lines again
before sending this mail).

mdbox index directories: bug?
Hi,
I'm using mdbox now (Dovecot 2.2.4), with indexes on a
separate disk. Works fine, but the directories for indexes are also
present in the storage folder, and are empty. Userdb (sql) returns this:
home /var/vmail/domains/somedomain/someuser
mail
mdbox:~/mdbox:INDEX=/mnt/spool/dovecot/index/somedomain/s/someuser
And
the created directory structure is:
/var/vmail/domains/somedomain/someuser
/mdbox
/mailboxes
/INBOX
/dbox-Mails
/storage
/mnt/spool/dovecot/index/somedomain/s/someuser

Hello,
I am trying to merge(=copy) all mails of all user mailboxes into one

How to catch a parameter that contains a full url
Hi
I need some help!
I have controller that I need to pass a full url (with its own
parametrs) as a parameter, e.g. I want to call my controller with:
/mycontroller/catchurl?url=http://somedomain.com/afile.jsp?param1=xx¶m2=yy
and in action "catchurl" in mycontroller.rb I would like to have
params[:url] to be
"http://somedomain.com/afile.jsp?param1=xx¶m2=yy"
I guess that one could do something smart with map.connect
but so far I have failed completely....

SAMBA + LDAP + add machine script bug?
...add machine" script to
work with samba-3.0.10. Initially, I attempted to add a Windoze XP
box (i.e. Control Panel ->System -> Computer Name tab) to my domain
with a user ID of "root". This would always fail because there was no
user named "root" in "ou=Users,dc=somedomain,dc=org". Next, I tried
to add the XP box with a user named "Administrator". Samba would add
the computer to "ou=Computers,dc=somedomain,dc=org" but still fail and
would return an error back to the XP box "The user name could not be
found".
I turned some tracing...

Dovecot and CAPITALISATION = grrrr ;-(
Hello,
As far as I'm aware, email is case insensitive ?
Dovecot however, seems to be taking offence at the fact that someone is
sending mail to user at SOMEDOMAIN.XYZ.
Postfix has no issues handling it, it when it gets passed over to
Dovecot LMTP that I get log lines such as :

However user at somedomain.xyz *DOES* exist in the passwd file. Just not
