Fastagi question
Hi All,
I have a question about Fastagi because I can't get
it to work for some reason. Everytime I execute the
fastagi command, i get an error:
my extensions.conf:
..
exten => 1000,1,agi(agi://some_ip_address)
..
output from asterisk console:

suppressing openssh server identification
With all of the discussions regarding getting p3wned, I am feeling paranoid and can't seem to figure out how to suppress this...
telnet $SOME_CENTOS_5_SERVER 22
Trying $SOME_IP_ADDRESS...
Connected to $SOME_CENTOS_5_SERVER.
Escape character is '^]'.
SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_4.3
'Banner no' doesn't do it. Is it possible to suppress the version?

Where is the * servers IP defined for sip phones?
...callerid = Unknown
[5010]
type=friend
username=5010
secret=cisco
context=from-sip
callerid="Eamonn" <5010>
qualify=1000
host=dynamic
nat=yes
canreinvite=no
mailbox=5010
Also I have seen many examples online and in Paul Mahler's book for one
that show host=dynamic and defaultip=some_ip_address in the same context
this seems confusing, to me at least.
Thanks
Eamonn

sip.conf
HI,
can somebody tell me how and where must I put the SIP register line? I
think is in [general] section of the sip.conf and that I have to put:
register => user:password@host:port/localextension
but, user and password of the SIP gateway? Because I'm trying this and
doesn't work...
thanks a lot in advanced
michelle

P2V: Headless support
This introduces support to run P2V without X server. Runtime parameters
are specified via kernel command line making it hopefully suitable for
automated migration with a little help of PXE boot.
Patchset is not squashed and represents dev. history.
