Slow computation in for loop
Dear members, I'm using R to do some test computation on a set of parameters of a function. This function is included in three for() loops, first one for replications, and the remaining two cycling through possible parameters values, like this : for (k in replicates) { data <- sampling from a population for (i in param1) { for (j in param2) { result <- function(i,

Multicast (ICMP6 router solicitation) flood
Hello, I am a happy user of tinc in multiple environments. It is beautiful - thank you! Today I noticed that a network of around 20 nodes suffered from a flood of packages like the following: IP6 fe80::e4eb:74b6:57e0:c3e1 > ff02::2: ICMP6, router solicitation, length 8 For the first ten hours these nodes (even the usually completely idle ones) have seen incoming traffic of around 1 MBit/s

Multicast (ICMP6 router solicitation) flood
...f the tinc nodes use v1.0.31. Two use v1.0.24 and a single old one is > still at v1.0.19. > (Debian stable, oldstable and oldoldstable) The issue looks like a routing loop. In fact, there was a bug in versions before 1.0.24 that might cause routing loops of broadcast packets, and this router sollicitation message is in fact a broadcast packet. If possible, upgrade to a newer version of Debian. If that's not possible, try installing tinc 1.0.24 from wheezy-backports. > The setup is running unchanged (besides a few nodes being added from time to > time) for a few years. How to select the scale parameter for Gabor transform (Rwave)?
Dear list, I am trying to choose the scale parameter for the cgt transform but I don't know how to do it. In time I would like to be able to separate points 30 samples apart, and in frequency I would like to separate bands 0.04 Hz apart. I tried the two approaches described below and they gave me different results. I would appreciate advise on how to do this. The Rwave Gabor transform uses

I recently subscribed to the LLVM and Clang developer mailing lists, and earlier today read a message requesting advice on "Contributing to LLVM Projects". I'm hoping to eventually get involved as well, but with my situation being very different to that described in the referenced thread I got the idea of solliciting advice seperately. If this is not the right place to ask, though,
