Where to solicit bids on RoR project?
Where is the best place to solicit bids on a mid-size web app? (budget
~$15,000) What is the appropriate protocol for posting RoR RFPs?
Thanks!

Disable DHCPv6 on Cent7
So, I'm seeing a bunch of DHCPv6 traffic coming from my CentOS7
machines. Basically, the machines are trying to send router
solicitations, the packets are blocked at their egress firewalls, and
I get to see the logs.
I don't wish to disable IPv6. I don't wish to statically configure
IPv6 at this time. I wish to have the machines no longer attempting to
send router solicitations as

Multicast (ICMP6 router solicitation) flood
Hello,
I am a happy user of tinc in multiple environments. It is beautiful - thank you!
Today I noticed that a network of around 20 nodes suffered from a flood of
packages like the following:
IP6 fe80::e4eb:74b6:57e0:c3e1 > ff02::2: ICMP6, router solicitation, length 8
For the first ten hours these nodes (even the usually completely idle ones) have
seen incoming traffic of around 1 MBit/s

IPv6 on Centos 6
We've been running ipv6 for a year or so now, but some of our newer
instances (all on an ESX cluster) are not working. It looks like it's
all of our Centos 6 instances. I'm hoping someone can point me in the
right direction...
tshark indicates that it's neighbor discovery that's failing:

Some observations on live migration & solution solicitation
Hello,
I am now testing XEN live migration on 3 physical hosts with XEN 4.0.1 pvops
Ubuntu 10.10 (2.6.35-22). The kernel is compiled and built with default
selections plus the support for ext4 file system as well as the support for
network file system server. The three hosts are connected by one D-link
gigabit switch (DGS-2205).
I find that:
1) If the 3 hosts are booted about the same time, the

Soliciting suggestions - Form within a Form
Greetings!
I could use some suggestions on how to proceed from where I am to where I want to go.
I''m working on an app that collects info from the visitor and saves it to a file. The file can later be read in for update. To collect the info, the app presents a form with a set of checkboxes. The state of the checkboxes at initial presentation is controlled by a summary record that is

How can I execute a .R/script file
Dear R-Users,
I've written a number of functions in a .R/script file. I would like to
call those functions from another script file. How can I execute all the
code in a script file so that the functions are available for use in my
other script file ?
I have tried help.search("script") and various Google alternatives but
couldn't come up with anything.
Thanks in advance,

fine grain tick marks for zoo plots
Dear R Users,
I am trying to get plot.zoo to place monthy tickmarks/labels for a time
series which spans daily data going back a bit over a year. Right now, I
am getting only one tick mark on the x-axis for the beginning of 2008. How
can I force plot.zoo to place more regular x-axis tick marks on a monthly
basis ?
Thanks in advance,
Tolga

Diagnosing IPv6 routing
I just got 50 Mbps symmetric fiber from AT&T and it includes a /56 of IPv6
addresses, replacing a much slower ADSL line. I never tried to get IPv6
working on the old connection. I'm using CentOS 7 as a gateway and it's
worked great for several versions for IPv4.
I'm not seeing any IPv6 default route on the WAN interface. I suspect I'm
not getting route announcements. I

Dear R Users,
A bit of an elementary question, but somehow, I haven't been able to
figure it out. I'd like to changes the column names of a data frame, so I
am looking for something like col.names (as in row.names). Could someone
please show me how to change the column names of a data frame ?
Thanks,
Tolga

Landscape mode for pdf
Dear R Users,
I would like to get the pdf() command to create graphics in landscape
mode, as I am plotting 8 graphs in 2 rows and 4 columns. This is being
generated for an a4 printer (so I also use the paper="a4" command). Is
there a way I can ask pdf() to generate the document in landscape mode ?
Thanks,
Tolga
