Hello, I apologize for the duplicate post, but I made a typo last time. I am trying to notify the service, not subscribe to it. Also, I found that notifying a service, in this case nfs, appears to cause the service to load even if the service is configured to be disabled. Is this supposed to happen, or should the ensure => stopped state be enforced even during a notify? Thank you, -- Rob

List, I just left an environment where I was running R and mysql on CENTOS. At the time of install, RMySQL was available on CRAN. Later installs on Ubuntu were possible because it was available as a package in the base repos. Now I'm in a new environment where I have no choice but to use Windows XP. I had one of the users download a big file (which was being saved on the desktop).
