SELInux conflict with Postfixadmin
...o adjust their setup to allow write access.* This goes away with 'setenforce 0', so it is an SELinux issue. I have tried both: restorecon -Rv /usr/share/postfixadmin and chcon -R -t httpd_sys_content_t /usr/share/postfixadmin and they are not the problem. Googling this message doe snot produce any SELinux advice. Any ideas? thanks

subset in a matrix
Hi, I have a matrix of data values like the example bellow. I would like to extract a subset of the matrix for the values where the first column is negative. I am using the subset function. However, I am getting an error message that the conditional variable doe snot exist. For some reason, the subset operation only works if I transform the matrix to a data set using as.data.set(). The help indicates that the subset function can be applied to matrixes and data sets. I am wondering if anyone has seen a similar problem before. am I using the correct syntax? n...

Feature request
Hi, I am implementig Dovecot as a part of my new e-mail server, which is aimed to be replacement for proprietary software I've been using sofar. Appreciating all Dovecot rich features, I lack just one. And this is the ability to customize the "quota exceeded, message rejected" message. I know I can set it's default content using quota_exceeded_message parameter, but i would

We know that changing to writeback will make performance much better, but we are not considering lose anydata, so it i snot an option. Now we are going to implemente noatime options in mount. This make better performace ? Other one, how about the commit mount options ? The default is set to 5s if i increse it how is the potential data loss in case we lost lose power? Ingress Shaping using IMQ
Hi Guys, Here is a question that is probably of concern to many of us. I am under pressure to provide some solution for ingress traffic shaping. What my customer demands is to divide the downstream (ingress) of an ADSL lines to two classes of traffic - important traffic and non important downloads. He has a very reasonable requirement: he wants a guarantee of at least 1000kbps at all times for

Time for a distributed VCS?
...ame service for the NUT-UPS project. I don't know whether there's been any discussion of moving the project off Subversion. But maybe you (all of you) should consider it. Subversion was a good thing in its day, and certainly a huge improvement on CVS, but any modern DVCS really beats the snot out of it on just about any level - with support for code analysis, off-net operation, much faster speed of common actions such as commits, and in many other ways too. The way I can help is by making the conversion perfectly metadata-preserving, rapid and painless. All three of these are difficul...

any suggestions on this error?

fts, solr, and client support
...ally take advantage of it. Even using thunderbird's advanced search and checking the 'run serach on server' box doesn't push the search to the server. If most popular clients don't support it, there doesn't seem much point in setting it up; which is a shame, solr beats the snot out of the built in search for thunderbird. That said, is anyone running any of the fts plugins in a large scale environment? If so, what kind of scaling issues do you see? How do the search servers compare hardware wise to users count/spool size? -- Kelsey Cummings - kgc at corp.sonic.net...
