chan_sccp crashes Asterisk on startup
Say there! This is a new Asterisk install on Fedora; I downloaded and installed Asterisk 1.2.1 and it runs fine. I downloaded the 20051217 version of chan_sccp, compiled and it installs ok. Eleaps in package subselect crashes when using include arguement
I'm using eleaps to build a forward selection algorithm iteratively, but the program unexpectedly crashes. In fact, it completely closes my session in RStudio. The first 39 steps work fine, but on the 40th step, it unexpectedly stops with no errors. I've isolated the error to the code snippit below. There are 39 predictors, and I'm searching for the 40th best. I've passed in a fisher information matrix and the H matrix. I can't figure out why the process is stopping at the 40th iteration. include<-scan() 1 2 3 5 8 16 18 19 25 32 33 34 36 37 38 40 41 42 46 49 52 54 55 58...

Testing null values: ast_yyerror(): syntax error
OK, I'm going nuts here trying to correctly identify null values, specifically when callerID info is not available. FYI, I'm running Asterisk CVS-HEAD-08/17/04-13:08:53, and Bison 1.875a (debian Sid). A snippit of my dialplan looks like this: exten => s,1,SetCIDNum(${CALLERIDNUM}) exten => s,2,NoOp,${CALLERID} exten => s,3,DBGet(temp=idiot/${CALLERIDNUM}) ; Is the person calling an idiot? exten => s,4,Goto(s,2001) ; Yep, he's an idiot. ; else check for callerID. Profiles utility not obtaining SID
For a few years, I've used a homegrown script to migrate local profiles to domain profiles utilizing the profiles utility. After upgrading to Samba 3.0.23c, the profiles utility has changed. The script used to run the profiles utility against the NTUSER.DAT file to obtain the user and group SIDS. Now, however, the utility will only print off TONS of stuff to stderr (of course not the SIDS,

How to use Sipura SPA3k POTS line to dial Asterisk SIP phones?
My SIP phones can dial out through Sipura SPA3k to POTS for local and 911 calls _but_ incoming POTS calls are being swallowup somehow. linux sockets on centos (slightly off topic)

Getting classic BIOS and UEFI boot on the same disk?
...uot;dd" onto a hard drive or USB drive and a bash script demonstrating how it was done here: https://www.syslinux.org/archives/2019-July/026476.html You don't actually need the patch for the dual BIOS/UEFI support. The patch in the above link is just to enable the reading of config "snippits" from a "entries" directory. Feel free to try out the provided disk image to see if it meets your needs and reverse-engineer the bash script to suit your needs. On Wed, Aug 21, 2019 at 1:34 PM William R. changing variable naming rules in LLVM codebase
It very much depends on what is following the code snippit. If the second "if" is guarding a substantial block of code, "constantExpr" might very well be a good name. Otherwise something like "cExpr" or "constExpr" might be fine. In the past when I have seen things like "CE" in the code, it's not alw...

Segfault on selecting mailbox twice in a row
Hi, I was doing some testing with new 2.2 changes. I?m using commit 15d5b8a from origin/master-2.2. The setup is using imapc to connect to a different imap server. Problems with mongrel on NetBSD
I seem to have a (recent) problem with mongrel on NetBSD. I''m running a development release of NetBSD (called NetBSD-current 4.99.34). When I start mongrel, it listens on the IPv6 wildcard address, but not on the IPv4 wildcard: => Booting Mongrel (use ''script/server webrick'' to force WEBrick) => Rails application starting on http://0.0.0.0:3000 => Call with

portmap vulnerability?
Are there any known vulnerabilities in portmap (redhat''s portmap-4.0-7b)? I''ve been receiving a lot of attempts to access the portmap port on some linuxppc machines I administer by various machines which clearly have no business with mine, and I wonder if this is an attempt to break in to my machines. I''ve searched some archives, but I haven''t yet found any
