Callus, Mame and other emulators
Hi!
I'd like to play with snes, arcade and other retro games, but unfortunatelly
there isn't any linux emus for this.
So I run the emutaltor callus with wine, with medius succes: Callus works
fine, everything is ok, but it uses 100% CPU, and becouse of that, the soung
goes wrongs somethimes.
I don't know why it is tak...

Having trouble getting started on writing a WDC 65816 backend
I asked about this in IRC ~2.5 hours ago:
<srnb> I'm trying to write an LLVM backend for the WDC 65816 (for usage in compiling SNES code) but I have very little experience with how C++ works and LLVM's CMakeLists. I'm trying to follow the guide but I don't know how to check if the project builds after my changes or how to test a small amount of C with it once I get it working.
<srnb> I've run into some thi...

How would I end up doing this? Do you mean bank 0 of the actual SNES ROM?

Wine - ARM - Pandora Handheld
...USB 2.0 Host
* Dual SDHC card slots & SVideo TV output
* Dual Analogue and Digital gaming controls
* 43 button QWERTY and numeric keypad
* Around 10+ Hours battery life
Now, for a handheld, its a power beast. And its going to be running a 2.6.x kernel, with loads of emulators ( snes, PSx, possibly N64, Dreamcast etc ).
The thing that interests me, will it be possible to recompile wine with ARM support? And better yet, will the x86 executables there call's be translated, or is this going to sound to silly? I'm not all that familiar with the basic workings of Wine, so i...

quick question
vcut (windows): what do you put in for the cutpoint (ex. how many numbers)
and how do you find out these numbers (ex. how do you find out what the
point in the file you want to cut it at is)

libgme drive-by exploit.
An interesting exploit:
https://scarybeastsecurity.blogspot.com/2016/12/redux-compromising-linux-using-snes.html
While this is tailored to Fedora 25 (with Chrome) and Ubuntu 16.04, in
checking my CentOS 7 system I find that it is not vulnerable simply
because it doesn't have the libgme used by gstreamer-plugins-bad to make
it work. However, gstreamer-plugins-bad-free is indeed installed, and
is...

Ubuntu 9.x segmentation fault with vpopmail auth
I've been trying for 24 hours now, to get an IMAP server which will
autenticate off of vpopmail cdb database and the auth module always
segfaults on login.
I'm using vpopmail 5.5.0 only because it is the only version which seems
to create a dynamically linked version of the library.
I tried latest releases dovecot 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2. Also latest mercurial
pulls of 1.1 and 1.2.
Even old
