vfs_ceph quota support?

Getting/setting Quotas is a VFS call, so this is 'simple matter
of programming' (SMOP:-). Patches welcome David :-).

Templates and undefined variables
Using puppet 0.23.2, I have a template where I wish to do something
like this:
<% if defined? some_variable %>
....
<% end %>
Ideally I''d like to tell these three cases apart:
a) defined to a non-empty value
b) defined to an empty value
c) undefined
However case c) causes problems - in
templatewrapper.rb::method_missing it causes an error to be thrown.

convert plugin failing
...VEN_BY_USERDB/Maildir"
"dump-capability"

I must be missing something - shouldn't the mailboxes only be
converted when a user logs in?
Should the conversion be skipped for the dump-capability user
(whatever that is!)
Thanks,

[Bug 1949] New: PermitOpen none option
...l the reverse tunnels work, but the
only local tunnel that will work is "ssh login at box -L
xxxx:localhost:65535".
I'd like to use "PermitOpen none" (or just blank) however sshd doesn't
allow this (just checked the source code).
Thanks,
Adrian

I thought I'd give it a try.
I added a new function that populates list of allowed sockets
with NULL, and also added the permitopen none option.

3510 configuration for ZFS
hi all,
I am hoping to move roughly 1TB of maildir format email to ZFS, but
I am unsure of what the most appropriate disk configuration on a 3510
would be.
based on the desired level of redundancy and usable space, my thought
was to create a pool consisting of 2x RAID-Z vdevs (either double
parity, or single parity with two hot-spares). using 300GB drives
this would give roughly 2.4TB of usable

Suggestion for merging xl save/restore/migrate/migrate-receive
Hi,
As we talked in
http://lists.xen.org/archives/html/xen-devel/2013-09/msg00211.html , I have a
suggestion: what about merging xl save/restore/migrate/migrate-receive?
Here is the description: xl-migrate.rst
Also there is a workaround for the xl migration daemon example: xl-migrate-socat.rst
Patch for the example: xen-xl-migrate-socat.patch

IPAPPEND breaks menu module
Just spent a few hours going mad(der) wondering why my menu config
wasn't working.
It looks like the change in 3.74 ("Add IPAPPEND to com32 modules,
especially needed for linux.c32") breaks menu.c32 (and possibly other
modules) since they aren't expecting it.
In particular menu.c32 uses that as an optional menu file, it then
complains "Initial menu has no LABEL

ensuring apt-get update is run first
I''m trying to do bootstrapping of debian boxes using pxeboot, debian
preseeding files and then puppet. Over time I''d like more and more to
be done in puppet :)
One issue I''m hitting is the repository configuration. Depending on
the node configuration, I''m supplying various files (with repository
information or proxy settings). I then have an update line.

lookup in CSV recipe
I await Luke''s node settings implementation with interest. At the
moment however, I have this sort of ugliness:
$site = $hostname ? {
fred => "opsera",
barney => "bedrock",
default => "unknown site",
...
}
So I''ve knocked up this little function to use CSV files instead. Now
I can just do:

defining client/server configs
Still very new to puppet, so go easy :-) Bit of a braindump I''m
afraid, but I''d really appreciate any "Yep", "interesting", "No!!!"
comments.
I''ll start with an example - adding NTP support. This primarily
consists of two configs:
a) NTP clients
- this is quite easy, it''s a templated file requiring the names of
