Aasterisk large-scale deployment w/analog phones
...of about 100 analog phones, that must have access to a VoIP server.
I am considering an option to use a couple of asterisk boxes, bundled with a
total of four TDM2460E cards, and one TDM2451E card.
Has anyone on this list done something similar? It would be great to hear
some comments regarding a smilar setuyp/planning - Do you think is it better
to distribute resources among multiple (more than two), lower-port-density
asterisk servers? Or is it better to use a channelbank for that purpose?
Cheers

Checking the assumptions for a proper GLM model
Hello,
Are there any packages/functions available for testing the assumptions
underlying assumptions for a good GLM model? Like linktest in STATA
and smilar. If not, could somebody please describe their work process
when they check the validity of a logit/probit model?

selinux policy (& engine) broken in C7
hi guys
I've just gotten a bunch of updates via yum and something
weird seems to be going on after the update.
System has:
selinux-policy-3.13.1-268.el7_9.2.noarch
selinux-policy-targeted-3.13.1-268.el7_9.2.noarch
actually three different boxes, all the same:
$ semodule -l
No modules.
and an attempt to install modules fails:
$ semodule -i openvpn.pp
Failed to resolve typeattributeset

PS a few rare old devs don't announce a sernum, so you may be partly
out of luck esp. in light of post from David Zomaya, Tripp Lite.
However newest releases of FreeBSD offer more hub & port no. info
than older releases, & presumably smilar on other OS's, so you may be
able to extract some differentiating info. Good luck.

I have a smilar issue after the latest CentOS 7 update on my gitlab server:

Oracle and ZFS
...due to power problem.
They want to switch to ZFS.
>From what I read on, ZFS will most probably not be corrupted from the same
event. But I am not sure how will Oracle be affected from a sudden power
outage when placed over ZFS ?
Any comments ?
PS: I am aware of UPS''s and smilar technologies but customer is still asking
those if ... questions ...

H323 -> IAX
Hi there
I am pretty close on giving up on Asterisk :-/
I am (still) trying to make a call from a H323 phone to an Asterisk
provider using AIX. But H323 does not route the number to AIX. All it is
transmitting is an "s".
