Samba enterprise performance?
...disk i/o, which will possibly de the deciding factor. Will post as soon
as I have that info.
I was thinking RAID6 Areca cards (2 GB of NVRAM/BBU), quad Xeon servers with 16
GB of RAM and 'enterprise' sata disks (though possibly avoid raptors due to
relatively low capacity).
TIA,

Samba on opensolaris's ZFS
...oes anybody have first-hand experience on running Samba off of Sun's ZFS? I am
specifically looking for compatibility between the two and performance of the
combo.
The reason I am looking into this is I find ZFS features of in snapshotting
etc. very attractive.
Any input appreciated,

Using syslinux.efi while doing UEFI HTTP boot iso PXE boot
...we load syslinux.efi with HTTP, will syslinux then load it config
files with HTTP or TFTP ?
3. In UEFI 2.8 it is possible to provide the next server manually (not
using DHCP).
Will syslinux work with HTTP boot and a manually provided next
server (no DHCP data) ?
