Hi, I successfully installed wine 1.2.3 on Debian squeeze amd64. Preliminary tests are fine. I use a ~/.wine/dosdevices/unc/myserver/myfolder linked to a smbmout in /home/myfolder to emulate a windows network share. I can launch "wine notepad '\\myserver\myfolder\test.txt' ", edit it and save the changes; so the permission seems right. ...t bigger than I guess 64Kb. So I reach that limit and can't get new users. Does anyone know about a registry key which permit me to specify a default profile path for all user. One kee => all users configured. (because the profile path is always the same for all users, h:\profile , and h is smbmouted following the user. Or does anyone made this other way that permit to use profiles and have as much users as you want... I recently installed samba 2.2.2 on my LM 8.0 box. It seems to be working OK. The smbmount and smbmnt programs however, did not install with the rest of the program. I have been trying to compile samba-2.2.6 on two different distributions (Mandrake 9.0 and Redhat 7.3), I have been getting the same error when I execute the configure command(./configure –with-smbmout –with-logfilebase=/var/log/samba –mandir=/usr/man).
