strange trouble with Win2k
I am running Samba 2.2.4 on a Debian machine (2.2.5 is compiling right
now), and I'm experiencing strange problems with Win2k-Clients in a
domain with the Samba-server as PDC.
The clients can join the domain, authenticate users to the Samba server
and access shares, thats o.k. However, they do not seem to believe that
they are in the domain.
If I click on "Network Neigbourhood",

Win XP Pro x64 and roaming profiles
I've recently connected a 64-bit windows box to my existing Samba-run
domain. In order to do this, I upgraded to Samba 3.0.23c. Most things
work fine. However, I'm having trouble getting the 64-bit box to
properly pick up the location of the roaming profile. I want the
profile to be stored in a directory in the user's home directory called
".profiles". However, 64

Problem with RID,SID and usrmgr
...beginning I had a problem with machine
account, but after group mapping and cleaning group maps, I was able to
add it from command line - using smbpasswd (according to this point, I
would like to ask: "machine" unix group is only allowed for machines? Am
I not able to use my own like:smbmachines?).
Now I am fighting with usrmgr.exe. When I connect from domain member XP
station as root and choice one of the listed users, I have recived sth
like this in logs and usrmgr error:

printing problems and permissions
I've got Samba 2.2.3 running as a PDC for some Win9x and WinNT
clients. Everything seems to be fine except that occasionally (but
rather often, at least every second day) printing from one of the
NT-clients is impossible. In the log file it says (word wrap here in the
editor):
[2002/02/26 18:04:21, 0] printing/printing.c:print_job_start(952)

Roaming profile problems
Hello,
I have installed since 6 months a PDC with samba and there is an endless
problem : the roaming profile synchronisation !!!
THE problem : Sometimes after the logout of a client, the roaming profile
is not synchronised on server. So when client connect on another clients, it
seems that some data have been loosed... After there is no later
synchronisation... So mails in profile are often
