interrupt pipe disabled [APC SMT3000RMI2U]
...you need connectivity with an existing NUT setup: > > http://www.networkupstools.org/docs/man/apcupsd-ups.html This seems to me a little bit complicated :-( Instead, can I use the apcsmart driver with the provided 940-0625a c?ble (RJ45/DB9 connectors) ? Or do I need to acquire an AP9620 SmartSlot expansion card, as I've seen in the Hardware compatibility list page ? -- Frantz de Germain D?partement Informatique UFR Sciences / DDN Universit? d'Angers

Apparently, ups.load is not one of them. Your UPS might

"Battery constant" value for APC UPS
...when a self test has been performed, the runtime is incorrectly displayed or when the battery capacity LEDs blink. You may also get a message such as ?UPS battery is discharged? from the management software. Reference: In order to successfully reset the battery constant, all accompanying devices (SmartSlot Accessories such as Interface Expander, Web/SNMP Management Card) must be removed from the SmartSlot or from the Comport of the UPS. In order to fit into or remove devices from the SmartSlot of the UPS, please shut off all connected load, switch off the UPS, pull the power plug of the UPS and swit...

It sounds like you might need the AP9620: http://news.gmane.org/find-root.php?message_id=512C533A.8010706%40sagebrushnetworks.com Otherwise, I imagine that the DB9 just provides serial Microlink, instead of the ol...

APC SmartUPS 750 (SUA750) missing ambient data with usbhid-ups
I have a SmartUPS 750 (SUA750) which has the temperature and humidity SmartSlot card installed. When NUT 2.2 communicates with this UPS over /dev/ttyS0 using apcsmart, using the APC Smart cable connected to the SUA750 serial port, and this ups.conf: [su700] driver=apcsmart port = /dev/ttyS0 I can see the ambient temperature and humidity data with "up...

APC Measure UPS support
Hey all, I have a measure-UPS card and the external cabled module. They're supposed to operate the same... does NUT auto detect them when using the apcsmart driver or are there config parms required? The the smart-slot unit is hooked to an SNMP/WEB card (and works through SNMP which isn't a fair compare) -- so I can't really test compare the two right now -- but I thought I'd
