How to handle NAT ?
I've been doing something like this. You'll need to set up a proxy so that
when you make a HTTP request the request 'goes' outside and then comes back
in again.

Can connect to example1.ogg but not example1.ogg.m3u
...tion as it is essential that the winamp
player is spawned automatically.
Anyone know why this is ?

The RH9 linux implementation is actually a virtual machine running under

How to handle NAT ?
...to the same problem I had
previously - i.e. the m3u file served to the client contains
http://10.1.1.101:8000/example1.ogg
which is of course not a valid address from the other side of my
firewall.
Is there a way to configure icecast so it will work from both sides of my
firewall ?

Sounds like we should add a comment in the config file about the
'externally accessible' requirement of the hostname. Or
