home directories with winbind
...user is added to the NT domain, the directory of his share is not created automatically. I presume it's normal, but it's reducing to 0 the role of winbind, because I have to create a directory on the linux machine each time a user is added to the domain, so a script creating the user at the smae time as the share could do the work. So with or without winbind I have an operation to do on the linux machine while I would like to have no operation to do. Is there a way to do that? A possibility to execute a script automatically where a user is created on the domain or anything, but the templa...

...icular revision passes all of the buildbot. That'll come later, though. In the meantime, should I attempt to merge my recipe into your buildbot config when you check it into the llvm repository? I'd make separate buildbot factories to run the two recipes (nightly and validation) but the smae slave pool could be used for both. Or should these remain as completely separate buildbots? One long-term goal for me is to make validation even more target-sensitive. So for example if we had a way to set default llvm and/or llvm-gcc options to compile for specific implementations (Barcelona v...

Questions about samba upgrade
Hi, I'm making tests to migrate our actual 4.4.5 to a latest versions and add a second dc. I have added a second dc with 4.10.7 and seems to work fine, now I have 4.4.5 with fsmo roles and a second dn with 4.10.7, but reading wiki https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Upgrading_a_Samba_AD_DC seems that since latest days some changes about steps to upgrade, now seems that is recommended to us

Rewriting attribute accessors?
...e controller with the correctly adjusted price (and all the other adjusted attributes). [My limited experience with MVC suggests this is a Model type of logic as opposed to Controller] Am I on completely the wrong track with this, or is this a good idea, or is there a better way to achieve the smae kind of thing. What are the pros and cons of such an approach? Any thoughts very gratefully receieved, with thanks in advance, Chris -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Corrupted index cache file [...] invalid record size
...I've found a few counterexamples, few and far between (not every login) but still. Google's no help, for once :-) Could this be a locking problem, a bug with big Maildirs (counterexamples being few), or what? I know some of my users have had problems logging several IMAP clients into the smae account at the same time, wouldn't put it past some of those with problems to be trying the same with POP. I know that a detected cache corruption is merely that, but I find the error message annoying :-) Configuration: v1.0-stable (0.99.20050712-2 from debian unstable) Mai...

I don't know anything about svn performance. Would this negatively impact llvm.org, which is already pretty strained?
